Quagliarella's agent hints at United move
Manchester United have not made an approach for Sampdoria striker Fabio Quagliarella but are interested in the Italian international, according to his agent.

Reports have linked the 23-year-old with a move to Old Trafford but Quagliarella's agent Silvio Pagliari said no direct contact had been made so far.
Pagliari told BBC Sport: 'I know there's some interest from Manchester United. I'm very proud of it, as he is. But United have had no contact with me or with Sampdoria.
'He'd be keen on playing in England, for sure. We have many things to think of, as many big clubs in Italy too are interest in a player like Fabio.
'We can talk about Inter Milan, Juventus, Manchester United, Chelsea - this is no problem for the player as they are all massive clubs.'

Barton completes move to Magpies

Barton's time at Man City has been dogged by controversyManchester City midfielder Joey Barton has completed a £5.8m move to Newcastle after agreeing a five-year deal.
Both West Ham and Newcastle submitted bids of £5.5m for the 24-year-old England international last week.
But his move to Newcastle hit a stumbling block over City's refusal to pay £300,000 that Barton was said to be owed as part of the transfer.
But the Magpies improved their offer to £5.8m on Thursday and the bid was accepted by City.
Barton was entitled to £300,000 if he left the club without requesting a transfer, but City were reluctant to pay it as they argued he was not being forced to leave.
Newcastle manager Sam Allardyce criticised City for the hold-up and the Eastlands side responded with anger at him for making the dispute public.
The Professional Footballers' Association intervened but it seems the situation has been resolved by Newcastle increasing their bid.
Barton made his debut for Manchester City in April 2003 and has made nearly 150 appearances for the club.

Woolmer died 'of natural causes'
Jamaican Police have confirmed that the late Bob Woolmer died of natural causes.
The former Warwickshire and South Africa coach was found unconscious in his hotel room the day after Pakistan's shock exit from the World Cup.
Police initially confirmed they were treating the death as "suspicious", and the official post-mortem later revealed Woolmer's passing "was due to asphyxia as a result of manual strangulation".
However, Jamaican Police confirmed on Tuesday that they found no suspicious circumstances surrounding the 58-year-old's death.
In the main points to come out of an official Police statement, it was agreed...
-No substance was found for the potential act of poison, and
-No match-fixing or illegal action had taken place to arouse suspicion in connection with the death.
Jamaica Constabulary Force commissioner Lucius Thomas confirmed in a news conference that they had now closed the case as they were fully satisfied Woolmer died of natural causes.
"The JCF accepts these findings and has now closed its investigation into the death of Mr Bob Woolmer," Thomas told a news conference.
Thomas added that foreign pathologists "concur with the view that Mr Woolmer died of natural causes" while in further toxicology tests, "no substance was found to indicate that Bob Woolmer was poisoned".
Commenting on allegations of match-fixing, he added that "neither the ICC (International Cricket Council) nor the JCF have found any evidence of any impropriety by players, match officials nor management during the investigation of Mr Bob Woolmer's death."
It now remains to be seen whether Pakistan will seek legal action against West Indian authorities, with former captain Imran Khan claiming the country's reputation has been severely 'tarnished.'

Brutal Nadal shatters Moya hopes

World number two Nadal remains unbeaten at Roland GarrosDefending champion Rafael Nadal will face Novak Djokovic in the French Open semi-finals after powering past fellow Spaniard Carlos Moya 6-4 6-3 6-0.
The match featured some entertaining rallies, with Moya firing more winners than the world number two.
But Moya was unable to cope with a barrage of wicked groundstrokes from Nadal and he was forced into 41 errors.
Nadal showed no mercy to his friend and fellow Mallorcan in the third set, allowing him just 14 points.

The 21-year-old has now won all 19 of his matches at Roland Garros as he looks to become the second man in history to win three titles in a row in Paris, after Bjorn Borg (1978-1981).
